New Dawn

It was new dawn, and the group leaving the village were gathered at the entrance of Elian. Arianne stood in front of the crowd, her arms crossing over her chest.

"Ok guys, remember the rules: Stay with the group at ALL times and don't wander off. Act as if you're a regular human when we enter any place of civilization. And most importantly, do not look at anyone or talk to anyone, unless of the up-most importance."

The group gave her slight nods, and they departed the village, walking at a steady pace.

After about 2 days of traveling, the group reached a city full of glittering skyscrapers. Arianne turned to the group saying, "Everyone split up. Each person will be paired with one other."

Blaine and Terra started complaining after Arianne arranged the "groups". Arianne hissed, "You guys need to learn how to cooperate with one another. Understood?"

Blaine and Terra glared at each other, giving small nods.

Rowan announced to the group, "Everyone report back here in about 1 1/2 hours. Remember to watch out for any Hunters and/or humans carrying weapons."

(Ok...time to comment. I guess you guys can comment about you going to your assigned place, and possibly some trouble happening. Like...fighting, conflicts, and of course...Hunters.)

A New Approach

The square was dusty, filled with the newcomers as well as abandoned daggers. Blaine turned back into human form, growling. "Now what. We know that they're going to come back, and have you seen that gun Chandra was holding? Just wait until her next target is us. We'll be dead for sure."

Arianne stood a few feet away, next to Terra. "We're gonna be okay. Don't lose faith in yourself."

Blaine's eyes narrowed. "HOW CAN WE NOT LOSE FAITH IN OURSELVES?! WE'RE DEAD MEAT. EACH AND EVERY ONE OF US."

Terra scowled. "Arianne's got a point. Or are you just going to give up and let them win without putting up a fight?"

Blaine growled, "LOOK WHO'S TALKING, AN EMO GIRL!"

Terra hissed, "That's it...you won't regret saying that. I garuantee you." She lunged towards him, already starting to transform into Umbreon.

"STOP!" Tereasa called.

"This is stupid. Why are you two fighting? Didn't you see how we fought off those Hunters as a team?" Lucia said.

"Yea, us working as a team is what made them retreat." says Micayla.

Blaine scowled. "Whatever." Terra looked away from him, then walked back to the back of the group.

Arianne announced. "We need a plan,"

"What plan?" Jonah asked.

"We need to see what the Hunters are planning. Before another attack surprises us again. And maybe the next attack will be our last battle."

"What do you have in mind?" Rowan called out.

"I say we gather a group of pokemon, and we seek out their hiding place. Or wherever humans are dwelling. We spy on them, hopefully discovering their plans. Any volunteers?"

All hands went up.

Rowan sighed. "We can't bring everybody along. It'll be too dangerous for the village."

Jace nodded. "Arianne can pick a couple from the group."

Arianne paused, letting the silence sink in. "Everyone got that?" Her small smile faltered as she saw scowls among the crowd. "I'm sorry, but not everyone can go. The people that are staying here also have a job, you know? Defend the village in case any invaders come in."

Blaine cut in, "Just why did you have to invite her?" He pointed a pale finger in Terra's direction. Terra scowled, opening her mouth to make a comeback, but Arianne cut in.

"Stop it you two. You both just have to deal with it. Now, the people who are traveling with me to go spy, remember to act like regular humans when we enter towns, ok?"

The group nodded in unison.

Rowan grinned. "Ok then, I guess it's time to pack."

Blaine nodded. "We should meet at Lithia Port in a couple hours."

(Ok guys um...comment here about conversations, packing, etc. Then comment on Lithia Port, I guess. Hopefully I'll make another post after that. Thanks!)

An Interruption

Blaine and Rowan were walking along the streets of Fey Sanctuary, heading towards the entrance of town.

"I just don't get why humans hate us," Blaine growled, still thinking about Chandra. Rowan nodded in agreement. "I know right. It's not like we did anything wrong. They just hate us because we're 'different'."

As the two continued down the road, a small crowd of people were slowly appearing from the horizon. "Look! More people!" Rowan called. Blaine turned into Absol and raced towards the throng of newcomers while Rowan flew in Charizard form.

Once they reached the entrance, Blaine eyed the crowd nervously. "Humans or Pokemon?" he asked warily.

One boy wearing dark blue and black clothing muttered, "What the heck are you talking about?"

Blaine glared at him. "Have you experienced anything unusual, or have some people been showing hatred towards you?"

Another boy dressed in yellow and sky blue answered, "Yes, our townspeople looked like they wanted to murder me."

Rowan nodded. "Have you guys ever heard of the Hunters?"

"T-The Hunters?" A small girl with red, curly hair dressed in brown asked in a timid voice.

"I've heard stories about them in my village. One story was about how they searched to kill certain kinds of people." One girl with blonde hair dressed in unique clothing that looked like grass, cut in.

"What kinds of people were they talking about?" Another girl dressed in blue and red asked.

"In my village, they said the humans turned into monsters." A boy wearing a mask answered.

"We must be those monsters, aren't we?" A tall girl dressed in a long white dress replied.

Blaine nodded. "I'm pretty sure you guys can join us."

"Who's 'us'?" A boy with spiky brown hair asked.

"We're the 'monsters' that your townspeople talk about in the stories."

"What kind of specific monsters are we?" A girl with blue hair commented.

"Pokemon." One boy with orange hair answered.

Blaine and Rowan turned towards him. "How do you know?"

"My f-family was part of the Hunters Association...sadly."

Blaine nodded. "Ok, so this is Elian Village, where we take in any type of Pokemon. You guys will be safe here, but still watch out for the -"

Blaine was cut off when a knife was hurled towards him. His eyes widened momentarily, but he narrowed them a split second later. He turned, turning into Absol. Rowan was standing side-by-side with him in Charizard form. They spotted Arianne and Terra running towards them.

"Humans! They're here, trying to kill us!" Arianne yelled before turning back into Espeon.

Blaine and Rowan charged towards the waiters and waitresses, leaving behind a cloud of dirt. The newcomers stood there, some confused, scared, or even angry.

"We should help them," Jonah said as he turned into Lucario.

Micayla nodded, turning to Vaporean and running towards the enemies.

A loud boom! was heard, and the newcomers turned to see a group of about 6 Hunters, standing near the entrance. "Hello my darlings," Chandra grinned.

A Visitor

Rowan walked down a path in Lithia Port, his mind blank. Mikka trailed behind him slowly, her head hung low.

"Sorry if my plan sorta got us in trouble," she said quietly. Rowan stopped and looked back at her. "It-It's ok..."

Just then, the sky darkened and rain began pounding on the ground. Mikka immediately transformed into Ampharos, knowing that trouble was coming. She turned her head and saw Rowan already in Charizard form.

Blaine came out of a shop, holding a bottle of water. He took one look at Mikka and Rowan and came running towards them. "What's happening?"

Mikka shrugged, motioning to him that she couldn't speak in pokemon form.

"Oh, right."

Blaine turned into Absol, standing a few yards in front of the other two. From the entrance of town came a dark shadow. Blaine growled as Rowan's wings flapped against the strong wind.

A slender-looking woman with blonde hair and a lithe figure was approaching them. Blaine transformed back into human form, holding his dagger tightly. "Who are you and what are you doing here?"

"I was informed from the mayor that, you monster people live here?"

"Monster people?!" Blaine spat. "You must be a Hunter."

"Yes I am. Chandra's my name. I'm one of the most finest and high-class hunters around. You guys better keep a wary eye out. I'm just here to inform you that in a few days time, all the hunters in this island will join together, and kill each and every one of you 'creatures'."

Rowan approached Chandra, standing side-by-side with Blaine. "What makes you think you guys can beat us?"

Chandra grinned "We have a special plan."

Mikka cut in, "What plan?"

Chandra spat in her face, "Do you think I'm going to tell you?!"

Blaine couldn't take it anymore. He slashed near Chandra's waist with his blue dagger, but she stopped him before he could injure her. She was holding his wrist, pushing back at him with all her weight.

"Stupid little boy. You all are stupid little cowards. You should be ashamed that you were even born."

Blaine glared at her with shining scarlet eyes.

Chandra let go of his dagger, and walked off on her high heels into the mist, and disappeared.

Join

You walked down a winding dirt path aimlessly, your mind blank. The last thing you remember was back in your city - no, ex-city - with you creating a series of problems. You were exiled, glares and looks of disgust directed toward you as you left to journey for a new home.
You manage to find a village, much like your old one. You step in, only to be suddenly surrounded by a group of what looked like ten people.
A girl with unusual light purple hair looks you over. "Who're you?"
You open your mouth to speak, but another cuts you off.
The guy was dressed in orange, like fire. "Tell us later," he said, with a glance at the girl. "We need to know how you actually got through."
You shrug. "I just followed a path."
Another guy with dark blue streaked, silver hair shares a glance with the first girl. "Followed a path?"
You nod slowly. "Yeah..."
A girl dressed in all yellow stares at you, curious. "Are any events in your past what you might call strange?"
You nod once more, now unsure of yourself.
A girl wearing white looks over to the rest. "But we can't be sure..."
You can't help yourself. You blurt out, "Be sure of what?"
A girl in all black scowls. "Knowledge isn't always good for you."
Another girl defended you. "Don't say that! We need more of our kind..." she trailed off, looking back at you with a friendly smile. "Sorry if this is all confusing to you."
You shrug nonchalantly.
Yet another girl looks you over. "Do you know of any...let's call them 'powers', you might have?"
You smile faintly. "Actually, people in my old city told me stories about-"
A girl with green hair nods. "You might just be one of us."
The last girl grins at you. "Follow us. You still have much to find out."
