The square was dusty, filled with the newcomers as well as abandoned daggers. Blaine turned back into human form, growling. "Now what. We know that they're going to come back, and have you seen that gun Chandra was holding? Just wait until her next target is us. We'll be dead for sure."
Arianne stood a few feet away, next to Terra. "We're gonna be okay. Don't lose faith in yourself."
Blaine's eyes narrowed. "HOW CAN WE NOT LOSE FAITH IN OURSELVES?! WE'RE DEAD MEAT. EACH AND EVERY ONE OF US."
Terra scowled. "Arianne's got a point. Or are you just going to give up and let them win without putting up a fight?"
Blaine growled, "LOOK WHO'S TALKING, AN EMO GIRL!"
Terra hissed, "That's it...you won't regret saying that. I garuantee you." She lunged towards him, already starting to transform into Umbreon.
"STOP!" Tereasa called.
"This is stupid. Why are you two fighting? Didn't you see how we fought off those Hunters as a team?" Lucia said.
"Yea, us working as a team is what made them retreat." says Micayla.
Blaine scowled. "Whatever." Terra looked away from him, then walked back to the back of the group.
Arianne announced. "We need a plan,"
"What plan?" Jonah asked.
"We need to see what the Hunters are planning. Before another attack surprises us again. And maybe the next attack will be our last battle."
"What do you have in mind?" Rowan called out.
"I say we gather a group of pokemon, and we seek out their hiding place. Or wherever humans are dwelling. We spy on them, hopefully discovering their plans. Any volunteers?"
All hands went up.
Rowan sighed. "We can't bring everybody along. It'll be too dangerous for the village."
Jace nodded. "Arianne can pick a couple from the group."

Arianne paused, letting the silence sink in. "Everyone got that?" Her small smile faltered as she saw scowls among the crowd. "I'm sorry, but not everyone can go. The people that are staying here also have a job, you know? Defend the village in case any invaders come in."
Blaine cut in, "Just why did you have to invite her?" He pointed a pale finger in Terra's direction. Terra scowled, opening her mouth to make a comeback, but Arianne cut in.
"Stop it you two. You both just have to deal with it. Now, the people who are traveling with me to go spy, remember to act like regular humans when we enter towns, ok?"
The group nodded in unison.
Rowan grinned. "Ok then, I guess it's time to pack."
Blaine nodded. "We should meet at Lithia Port in a couple hours."
(Ok guys um...comment here about conversations, packing, etc. Then comment on Lithia Port, I guess. Hopefully I'll make another post after that. Thanks!)
Arianne quickly went into her room, taking out some essential items and placing them into a backpack. She walked back out and joined the group outside.

Blaine scowled, still thinking about his issue with Terra. He quickly got out some supplies and appeared a moment later with the group.

Kayden shoved his hands in his pockets. "I don't have anything," He said.

Blaine looked at the two. "Don't worry. I guess we can supply you guys with some things from the shops."

Rowan grabbed a backpack, stuffed in he and the others would possibly need, and slung it over one shoulder.

Ayla and Kendyl looked at the ones who weren't called for going. "What are we supposed to do?" Kendyl asked.

Lucia and Jonah rolled their eyes at the others and then went to retrieve their things where they had stashed them before the battle. Lucia growled as she saw a tear in her bag and immediately fixed it. Jonah slung his over his back and asked, "Ready?"
ReplyDeleteLucia nodded and then hissed, "Terra and Blaine are getting on my nerves. If they both come, we're bound to have trouble on our hands."
Jonah shrugged. "What can we do? Arianne picked them; therefore they have to come."
"Then she's screwed up the plan already," Lucia huffed as she headed back towards the others.
Arianne heard Lucia and Jonah's conversation, eyeing the two suspiciously. She walked over, standing between the two. "I heard what you said." She scowled.
